Contribute Auction Items
Each year, RIEEA raises funds through a silent auction and raffle. These funds help support RIEEA’s events and programs, such as our professional development (PD) scholarships that allow us to offer financial assistance to members to attend PD related to environmental education. Fifty percent of our PD Scholarship fund is allocated for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color as one part of our organization’s commitment to create change toward an equitable, anti-racist, and environmentally just future.
Can you help us out with a donation of goods or services from your organization/ business? Your generosity will help advance environmental education in Rhode Island! All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. If you have an item or services to donate, please click on the “Auction & Raffle Donation Form” link to your right and complete the form.
Some examples of donation items include:
- gift certificates
- passes to local zoos, nature centers, aquariums, etc.
- electronics
- vacation home use
- sporting goods (e.g., hiking or fishing gear)
- classes or experiences
- nonperishable food and drink items
- event tickets
- home goods
The raffle is part of RIEEA’s 2024 Annual Summit in March, and the silent auction will be held separately later in the year. Both events are used to fundraise for such important programs as our professional development scholarships, youth leadership retreat, and more.
