Nicole DiPaolo (she/her)
Program and Operations Director, Roots 2Empower

Nicole leads strategy and programming at Roots 2Empower, an environmental justice nonprofit focused on building a regenerative, equitable future. An artist, organizer, and advocate, she brings deep experience in environmental and energy justice, with past roles at the National Wildlife Federation and BlueGreen Alliance. Nicole received RIEEA’s 2024 Environmental Educator of the Year for her work creating inclusive spaces that empower communities to address environmental challenges.

Professor of Political Science and Director of the International Nongovernmental and Nonprofit Organizations Studies Program, Rhode Island College

Robyn Linde is a political science professor and director of the International Nongovernmental and Nonprofit Organizations Studies program at Rhode Island College. Her current research is on the role of the state in governing sex and sexuality, especially communities of LGTBIQ+ and sex workers, with published work in top international journals and a 2016 book with Oxford University Press. She is the founder of the RIC Food Justice project, where students work in their home communities on issues of food deserts, apartheid, and justice alongside various community stakeholders. Robyn is passionate about connecting students to environmental activism and fostering community-rooted change.

Amanda MacGee (she/her)

Wealth Management, Washington Trust Company

Amanda is a part of Washington Trust Company’s Wealth Management Department.  She manages estate settlement services, trust administration, and charitable trusts.  Amanda is a recent transplant to Rhode Island from Massachusetts.  Amanda is very passionate about serving and supporting the community she lives in.  She loves spending time in nature and has a special affinity for the ocean, due to her love of Great White Sharks.  Amanda has added a large dog named Gus to her family and is excited to take him on adventures as she explores Rhode Island.
