Experiential learning is part of the fabric of Coggeshall Farm Museum. It is a living history museum exploring the lives of Rhode Island’s tenant farmers working the fertile land along the salt marshes in the late 18th century. As a museum of methods, they are uniquely poised to provide real-life contact with the past, while encouraging students of all ages to reflect on the differences and similarities with their lives in the present.
