2021 Annual Summit

Culturally Relevant Environmental Education

Our 2021 Annual Summit, Culturally Relevant Environmental Education, was held virtually on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 9am to 10:30am. 

The event included a keynote presentation by Brianna Amingwa of John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge At Tinicum, and small group discussions led by leaders in the Rhode Island environmental education community.

Briana Amingwa (she/her), Environmental Education Supervisor at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum

Brianna is the Environmental Education Supervisor at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum in Philadelphia. She manages the Refuge’s robust education program that serves nearly 18,000 students annually, trains teachers to utilize the outdoor classroom, coordinates partner schools and programming, and trains and certifies USA Archery instructors.
