This month we will be discussing access considerations including access for learners with disabilities, the difference between interpretation and translation, how location affects participation, and any other access challenges on your mind!
Our annual summit, titled “Storytelling to Connect with your Audience,” will be on March 4, 2023. Our keynote speaker will be Wanda Hopkins – author, educator, storyteller, and Narragansett tribal leader.
Please join us from 9am to 10:30am to meet our board of directors, network with others in environmental education, and hear what’s new at RIEEA. We’ll have coffee and treats ready for when you arrive!
This month we will be joined by Kate Schapira, a writer and teacher with over eight years of experience listening to people talk about climate change. Kate will lead us in some exercises from her forthcoming book, Next Morning on Earth.
