An environmentally literate community is an engaged community.

RIEEA and its members work to promote sound environmental education legislation and policies. We work closely with government agencies and with local, state, and federal officials to foster environmental education, protect our natural resources, improve public health, bolster the economy, and strengthen individual communities and the state as a whole.
