Rhode Island’s statewide day of giving, 401Gives, will take place from 6am on Tuesday, March 31, through 6pm on Wednesday, April 1. The RIEEA board has pledged $3000 in matching funds to help us reach our goal of $6,000.
With your support, we can continue to:
- Host an Annual Summit to bring together engaged communities throughout the state and from across various sectors to build partnerships, gather resources, share best practices, and cultivate leadership skills.
- Award Environmental Studies Scholarships to Rhode Island students pursuing a college or university degree related to the environment.
- Support educators through online resources, professional development workshops, and scholarships.
- Gather young people together to become leaders and advocates for environmental justice in their communities through environmental education.
- Recognize and celebrate exceptional educators, students, organizations, and schools through our Environmental Education Awards program.
- Provide a monthly space for environmental educators to gather, discuss the field, and learn from each other with our Virtual Lunch & Learn series.
- Advocate for sound environmental education legislation on a local, state, and federal level through civic engagement, partnerships, and relationship-building.
